Hilda Auffarth Jeddeloh

Hilda was born Hildegard Auffarth on August 1, 1918, in Delmenhorst, Germany. She passed away March 19, 2011, at Willamette View Care Center in Portland, Oregon. On June 10, 1939, Hilda married Adolph Zu Jeddeloh. Their first son, was born in Delmenhorst, Germany. In 1949, the family immigrated to Grants Pass,OR, where Adolph had family. Their second son, James was born in 1954. In 1963, the family relocated to Salem. Hilda was a great cook, and loved entertaining. She played cards, golfed, and had her share of bowling trophies. Adolph died in 2006, and in 2008, Hilda moved to Willamette View in Portland, to be closer to her family. Hilda is survived by Horst (Linda), Jim (Diane Snedecor), 3 granddaughters, Anna Waters (Jerry), Kate and Alexa Jeddeloh, and 2 great granddaughters, Edna and Riley Waters. There is no service at this time. Remembrances can be made to Willamette Falls Hospice in Oregon City. Services have been entrusted to Peake Funeral Chapel, Milwaukie, Oregon."",
