Greta Lenna Fasching

Greta was born in Grand Falls New Brunswick, Canada to her mother Alice (Moran) Dee and her father William Richard Dee. Greta grew up in Fort Fairfield, Maine and she moved to Portland Oregon in 1945. She married Ray A Fasching Jr. April 9th, 1945. They raised 5 children Ronald Fasching, Mary Fasching, Patricia Gerba, Billy Fasching, and Darlene Rasmussen. She has 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She has two sisters Elva Lapointe and Maxine Morrisette and one brother Sterling Thomas Davenport. Greta went to work as an elevator operator at Bedell's department store from 1945-1946, while her husband served in the Army oversees during WW II. She then stayed home until 1961 to raise her family. Greta returned to work at Roseville Retirement home, until 1971. From 1971-1984 she worked for Code-A-Phone (Ford Industries).
