Grace Ialeen Lunsford was born to Albert C. Bluff and Mary Catherine McGown Bluff on July 10, 1924, in Columbus, Ohio. Her family moved to Los Angeles, CA when she was an infant. She graduated from Mark Keppel HS in Monterey Park, CA in 1943 and immediately went to work for Union Hardware, followed by the Edison Company before working as a secretary, and the receptionist in the A-1 building of C.F. Braun.
She married Douglas Lunsford while he was serving in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Achernar. They were married for 72 years, living in Milwaukie, Oregon for 45 years. Grace was a housewife, a gifted fine artist, loved listening to grand opera and crocheting. She had a wonderful sense of humor along with a kind and courageous heart, and was a wonderful woman, mother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, and husband. She is survived by her son, Richard; daughter, MCatherine; grandson, Drayton; and several nieces and nephews.
