Gloria J. Ives, daughter of John and Lillian Tatone, was born August 18, 1926 in Portland, Oregon. She passed away October 21, 2019 in her home of 73 years surrounded by her loving family. Gloria grew up in the Woodstock area attending Dunaway grade school, Washington High, Milwaukie High and graduated from Canby High in 1944. It was at Milwaukie High where she met her future husband, Donald Ives, who preceded her in death after 67 years of marriage. She was active in her church, St. John's Episcopal, including the Altar Guild, PTA, Loaves and Fishes as well as being a full time mother and homemaker.
After high school she worked during the war at the Army Corps of Engineers as well as Meier and Frank's. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Neubauer (Keith); son, Gary Ives (Mari); brother, Ronald Tatone; five grandsons, Brian (Amy), Mark (Alison), Kelsey (Anna) Neubauer, and Christopher and Jonathan Ives; four nieces and nephews; three great-grandchildren; 11 great nieces and nephews; and 17 great-great nieces and nephews.
