Geraldine ""Gerry"" Mcknight

Gerry, 81, was born to Carl & Kathryn Gettman in Portland. She graduated from Washington High in 1949 and began her stellar career with Pacific NW Bell in 1950, starting as an operator. Gerry retired as Chief Service Advisor after 33 years. She married Mac McKnight, Jan 16, 1959 in Milwaukie Oregon. They loved traveling and spending time at their cabin on Devil's Lake. They were wonderful ballroom dancers. Mac passed away in 2006, and now he and Gerry are dancing together again. Gerry is survived by daughter Kathy, son-in-law Terry, grandson John, devoted cousins Jackie, Dorothy, Sharon, Bev, and many other family and friends whom she adored. Memorial Contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Oregon, 2701 NW Vaughn Street, 97210. Gerry's memorial service & reception will be at 1 pm, Friday, July 20th, 2012 at Stehn Family Chapels Tribute Center, 2906 SE Harrison St, Milwaukie, OR.
