Gebrehiwet Habtemariam Abraha

Gebrehiwet Habtemariam Abraha, a beloved son, brother, and father was born in Adi Hurgud on January 29, 1980 to his parents, Habtemariam Abraha and Mihret Asfaha. His father, Habtemariam Abraha, served his country and passed away fighting for Independence in Eritrea. Gebrehiwet was raised by his grandparents in Eritrea for most of his adolescence. During that time he attended both Sheka Wedi Bisirat and Bete Timirtri San Giorgio, and furthered his education later in the US. In 1996, Gebrehiwet came to the United States to live with his mother, Mihret Yohannes, his younger sister Ruta, and soon after, they welcomed Adonay. Gebrehiwet met his wife, Asmara Abraha in 2010 and got married in 2012. They later had two beautiful children, a son Amen and a daughter Emnet. Gebrehewit was a devoted family man and worked very hard to provide for them. He was a loving husband and father and was especially loved by his community. He was known to be a humble and caring man and always wanted to see those around him happy. His family was his number one priority and all he wanted to do was make them proud.
