Gaylen J. Senger was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on March 13, 1952 to Julius and Elizabeth Stauss Senger. At the age of six, the family moved to Milwaukie, Oregon where he remained. He married Sandra Crawford in Kalispell. Montana in 1991. Gaylen attended St. John Baptist Church and St. John the Baptist School. He graduated from Milwaukie High School. Gaylen worked for Stanley Proto Tool for twenty years. Before retiring in 2015 he was the maintenance head for Deerfield Assisted Living where he loved all the residents. Gaylen was a kind and giving man. He loved to visit with all the teenagers that came through the door that are now adults. He enjoyed making wind chimes and other unique items. Fishing for salmon was his passion. Gaylen is survived by his wife Sandra Senger; Stepchildren, Jason and Jennifer Smilth; Grandchildren, Dakota and Cassidy; Sisters, Arlinda Harper and Victoria Fisher; Brother, Stacey Senger (David), Nieces and Nephews, Bryon, Chad,Adam, Shane, Julie Ann, Troy, John, and Conner. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Julius Senger and Elizabeth (Stauss) Senger and sister Bardina Aspenlieder. Please wear a flannel shirt in memory of Gaylen."",
