Eva Hopkins

Eva Hopkins, 97, passed away Oct. 14, 2013, in Oregon City, Ore. She was born in Endicott, Wash., one of 18 children. She was the last surviving sibling. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis. Eva and Lewis moved to Longview shortly after they married. She retired from the Longview J.C. Penney store. She is survived by two daughters, Judith and Patricia; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Longview. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
