Edward (Ted) Harley Felt was born June 4th, 1951 and passed away at home on November 2nd, 2015 following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Monmouth, Illinois to John Harley Felt and Maxine Burrill Felt. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1969 and then attended college at the Southern Illinois University where he graduated with a degree in Forestry Management. After college, he moved out west to work at the Clearwater National Forest in Pierce, Idaho followed by Fremont National Forest in Bly, Oregon. He then moved to Grand Coulee, Washington where he worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. It was in Grand Coulee where he met and ultimately married Darlene Mae Koponen in February of 1982. In 1986, his daughter, Roxanne Rene Felt, was born. In 1999, Ted and his family moved to New Berlin, WI where he worked for the US Forest Service. He retired in 2007 after working for the federal government for 33 years. In 2008, Ted and Darlene happily retired to the Portland, OR area. Ted was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. The Masonic Lodge was also a very important of his life and he was a past Worshipful Master of Waukesha Masonic Lodge #37 in Waukesha, WI. He was passionate about traveling, history, and the performing arts including acting in local theaters. He was a wonderful husband and father who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Felt; daughter, Roxanne Felt; sister, Susan Bycroft; and brother, John (Jack) Felt."",
