Doris was born in Seattle, WA to Jared and Ida Johnson. She was raised in the Seattle area and graduated from the University of Washington with a Master\u0027s Degree in Social Work. She married Arthur Clarence Satre in Seattle, WA on October 19, 1946. Doris was employed by the Washington State Public Welfare Department and later for the Oregon State Public Welfare Commission. Doris worked for the American Red Cross, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Moreland Presbyterian Church, and the Order of The Eastern Star. Doris loved traveling and listening to Classical Music. Sh was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur. She is survived by her nieces; Sue B. Colbeck of Seattle, WA, Jean Forman of Long Beach, CA, Bobbi DePorter of Oceanside, CA, Marilyn Kauk of Raleigh, NC, and adopted family members Wayne and Barbara Bridges of Beaverton, OR.
