Doris Jean Korber

April 26, 1930 — November 11, 2018

Doris Jean Brown was born on April 26, 1930 twenty minutes after her older twin sister Dorothy June in Portland, Oregon to Sylvia Lura Adams and Rolf Vivian Brown.\u0026nbsp; Her mother insisted she was having twins but the doctor said there was only one baby.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1948. She married Walter Ernest Korber on November 7, 1948.\u0026nbsp; They were married for 54 years.\u0026nbsp; She was preceded in death by him in 2002.\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;She was a homemaker and worked along side Walt in the plastic industry for many years.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;She traveled to many places in the world with Walt. After his death she continued traveling with friends. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, reading and in later years she adored cats.\u0026nbsp; Princess and Emma brought her a lot of joy! \u0026nbsp; She had three daughters Kathy Grahn (Bill), Janet Schmeer (Steve) and Joan Rader (Rick).\u0026nbsp; She had eight grandchildren; Jennifer Paolilli, Erik Olsen,\u0026nbsp;Tracy Bariao-Arce, Andrea Gonter, Julie Hicks, Michael Schmeer, Jeff Rader, and Jamie Schmeer.\u0026nbsp; Ten great grandchildren; CJ, Kyle, Katie, Olivia, Grant, Isaac, Chloe, Bo, Isabelle and Ialiyah.\u0026nbsp; She is also survived by her twin sister Dorothy Bauer and her brother Robert Brown (Sarah) \u0026nbsp; Her greatest joy in life were her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;She was a special lady who truly cared for everyone.
