Donna Jean Miller

Donna J. Miller, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday morning Nov. 19, 2016. She was born April 13, 1929 in Portland to Joseph and Antonia Ferrante. She graduated from Commerce High School (Cleveland) and worked in the Insurance field before marrying the love of her life, Ron Miller in 1950. Together they built a home in Milwaukie, Or. After raising her four children, she went to work for Portland Public Schools retiring from Edwards Grade School in 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2012. She is survived by her son Dennis Miller (Nancy), daughters Janice Hopkins (Jim), Karen Groener, Susan Nettleton (Clint Walker), four grandchildren, Jason (Wendy), Ashley (Andrew), Chris, Trevor, several great grandchildren and sister Lillian Volpp. She will always be loved and missed by her family and friends. Private service to be held at Willamette National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oregon Humane Society."",
