Dollie was born in San Bernardino, California to Allan and Livina Corneil. She has lived in the Milwaukie area since 1975. She married, Daryl Hammond on August 22, 1970 in Eugene, Oregon.

Dollie is survived by her husband, Daryl; son, Ray Alan; sister, Katherine Leon and brothers, George and Alan Corneil.
