David George Williams was born May 5, 1935 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He was the youngest of 5 children born to Olga Anetha (Holter) and John Levi Williams. Raised by an Aunt and 3 Uncles (Williams Co) from an early age after the death of his parents, he grew up farming, trapping, hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors. After leaving North Dakota he lived in Oregon, California, Washington and Montana before recently returning to Oregon. He is survived by his wife EmmaLou, children Bonnie Grasty, Tom (Kelly) Williams, Debbie (Oie) Keller, first wife Judy (Willman) Williams, step children, Sharon (Terry) Naig, Paul (Shari) Lunsford, 6 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, son Daniel Joseph Williams and son in law Scott Lewis Grasty. He was an active volunteer with the Yamhill County Sheriff Dept for many years, enjoyed tying flies, racing remote control cars, making rock jewelry and mid-evil re-enactments.
