David F. Ortiz died November 23, 2022, in The Dalles, OR.
David was born April 26, 1932, in Uvalde, Texas to David and Gregoria (Flores) Ortiz.
He attended Uvalde High School and later joined the United States Air Force in July of 1951. After being honorably discharged in 1955, he worked in the heavy construction industry. He was also a member of the Operating Engineers Local 701 until his retirement in 1993.
David is survived by his children, Diana Ortiz Kelly, Everardo Ortiz, Yolanda Ortiz Lee, and Reno Ortiz; his two brothers and two sisters and grandchildren.
A cemetery service will be held 11:00am, Friday, December 9, 2022, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR.
