Charlotte Henrietta Ferchland, 95, died on Valentines Day, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Homewoods Heights Assisted Living in Gladstone, Oregon. Charlotte was born August 5, 1919 in Hardin, Montana to Harry and Anna Wyatt. Charlotte attended Auburn Academy in Auburn, Washington. She later moved to Portland, Oregon where she worked in the shipyards during WWII as a welder. She later met her husband Gunther. She worked for Franz Bakery in Portland for almost 40 years and was proud to be the only employee that celebrated Franz Bakery\u0027s 50th, 75th, and 100th anniversaries. Franz Bakery honored Charlotte by putting her picture on the 100th anniversary bread wrapper. Charlotte drove her car everywhere and helped others by taking them shopping or to doctor appointments until she stopped driving at the age of 92. She was also an avid walker, often walking as much as 5 miler a day. She also went swimming three days a week for most of her retired life. She always enjoyed her lunch dates with friends after her swimming. Charlotte was a very giving woman who always thought of others by giving little gifts to brighten people\u0027s day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gunther Ferchland, daughter; Janice Shimer, sister; Harriet Case and twin brother Charles Wyatt. Charlotte is survived by her children; Dennis Ferchland of Milwaukie, OR., Darrel Ferchland of Lake Oswego, OR., nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, sister; Ella Mae Case of Lacey, Washington, and many loving nieces and nephews."",
