Charlotte Ann Clunas

Charlotte Ann Clunas, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, journeyed to heaven on January 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack Clunas who was also her high school sweetheart, also her parents Lawrence and Fay Haradon, her sister Judy Haradon, and some very special friends and family. Charlotte is survived by Her two sons, Steve Clunas (Cadence) and Randy Clunas (Lisa); five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Charlotte was known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family.  

Charlotte was born on March 18, 1937, in Fremont, Nebraska. She moved with her family to Portland, Oregon at the age of 12 and graduated from Washington High School in 1954. She cherished her family, friends, and many of those she worked with over the years. She retired from Chevron in 1996 and remained active in Chevron's retirees' association.  

She was a loyal friend to many and was active throughout her early years in Bowling, Bunco, card nights, American Business Women Association (ABWA), and the Red Hats group. Charlotte loved traveling, boating, and making memories with her children and grandchildren. The family was active with the New Hope Church where she continued to make new friends and enjoy life to the fullest.  

She was a pillar of strength and a source of endless love and wisdom. Her legacy will live on through her family and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.  

A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, at New Hope Church located at 10603 SE Henderson St, Portland, OR 97266, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
