A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. inside Milwaukie Presbyterian Church for Burl Olmstead Fisher who passed away September 7,2008 of esophageal Cancer. He was 87. Burl was born April 6, 1921 in Great Falls, Montana. He married Mary Hemrich in 1957. She passed away in 2003. He worked as a school teacher for North Clackamas School district. He went to University of Denver and obtained his master\u0027s degree from the University of Oregon. During WWII he was a in the Air Force and worked on the Ground Core. Burl grew up in Great Falls, Spent 4 years in New York, 3 years in Denver and Lived in Jennings Lodge for about 7 years after he was got married. He was a resident of Milwaukie for 39 years, A resident of Portland for 5 years, and had just returned to Milwaukie. He is lovingly survived by his Daughter Melissa Fisher-Moore,6 nephews, 1 niece, 5 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 3 great great nephews, and 3 great great nieces.
