Born in Appleton, WI on Oct 4, 1938, she moved to Portland, OR at a young age. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High school in 1957, where she discovered her love of singing. She met Gerald Moore at the Lloyd Center Ice Rink and they married in 1962 and had 2 children. Bev worked in commercial loan banking.
She and Gerry loved to travel and they visited many Caribbean Islands, Tahiti and Mexico. After Gerry passed away in 2005, Bev and Sharron (Easley) Coulson traveled to Machu Picchu and several European countries together. They were great lifelong friends.
During her retirement, Bev rekindled her love of music and singing by joining a Sweet Adelines chorus where she sang bass. She not only sang in the chorus but became an integral part of the leadership team and treasurer. She loved her chorus. She also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, reading and stitching.
Bev is survived by her daughter, Karen Wood (Mark Wood); son, Chris Moore; and 5 wonderful grandsons, Zachary Moore, Colton Wood, Trevor Wood, Lucas Moore and Logan Wood.
We love you and will miss you Mom and Nana!
