Barbara was born in Oregon City, Oregon and was raised there until she was in her teens. Then her family moved to Gladstone, Oregon.
She married the love of her life, Rudolph Piccolo in 1958 and they enjoyed over 63 years together, until Rudy preceded her in death in 2021.
She was a talented, hardworking, and creative homemaker. She enjoyed baking and making her delicious fudge, which she generously shared with friends and family. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and camping. She loved playing cards and she usually won!
She had a dry, quick-witted sense of humor, with many likening her to Lucille Ball.
She was a loving and devoted mother to her six children. She is survived by:
Dean, Keith, Lona, Lorie, and the twins, Julie and Jennie.
She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Jack, as well as cousins and nephews.
She will be sorely missed by many.
As an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a private memorial will be held on August 3, 2024, at 2pm at her local Kingdom Hall.
Zoom link will be provided upon request.
