Arless ""Sonny"" Payne

Arless (Sonny) Reginald Payne, died on July 10, 2014 at the age of 71. Sonny was born on February 11, 1943 in Morganton, North Carolina, the oldest of three children born to Arless B. and Pauline Payne. Sonny graduated from David Douglas High School in 1961. He was voted most spirited by his senior class. He attended college at the University of Oregon.



Sonny is survived by his wife, Kathy; sister, Joyce; three sons, Aaron (Patty), Sean (Linda) and Trenton (Lara) and two grandchildren, Devon and Tristen. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda.



"In honor of one whose gift renews the lives of others." Sonny will live on in others and even in death his unselfish gift will give life, sight and mobility to people he never met.
