Annabelle Marie Massey

Anne passed very peacefully on Monday December 15, @ 8:05 pm. She was born on March 19, 1920 and lived to be 94. She had a wonderful life with the love of her life, husband Bill Massey (deceased). She simply was a girl who wanted to have fun and share that fun with everyone around her. She was cremated today and services will be held at 3pm Friday 12/19 @ Farnstrom Gable Funeral Chapel, 225 NE 80th ave. Portland Oregon 97213. 503-253-7569. Anne requested that in leu of flowers, that donations be made to help her very sweet and needful room mate Sherry. Sherry is a 42 year old stroke victim who only has the use of her left hand but has a good mind and memory. Our goal is to buy her a touch type kindle with audio reading capability so see can read again and anything else we can do. Donations can be deposited in a donation box, or sent to Ron Lauer, 3721 68th dr ne, Marysville, Wa 98270. Simple Christmas flowers and lg live pine tree wreath will adorn the viewing area where pictures of her, Bill, \u0026amp; Molly(cat) along with her Urn will adorn the alter. The chapel is close to the intersection of Glisan \u0026amp; Ne 80th ave. The chapel is a lg white buliding that dosent look like a chapel as your approaching and is easy to pass up. Services will be held at 3:00 pm. We have the chapel from 2-5 pm. You are invited to attend and encouraged to come anytime after 2:15 to view picture boards mounted in the gathering area and mingle with Annes friends and family. The actual service will be simple, begining with Chaplan Frank Clore, followed by a euolgy by Annes nephew Ron Lauer who will then invite attendees to share their thoughts and special moments with Anne from their seats. Afterwards you can leave or visit with others in the chapel and gathering area up till 5:00. There will not be a burial service. The Funeral Director will transport her to be buried in Bills plot at the Willamette National Cemetary along with her cat, Molly\u0027s ashes separated in Annes container. Her gravestone will read Annabelle Marie Massey with Together Again below the name. She passed peacefully. The picture below was taken several hrs before she passed.
