Anna M. Bisio of Milwaukie passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, at the age of 96.

Anna was born in Milwaukie in 1918 to Antoinetta and Vito Corti.  She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School where she met her future husband, Ernie Bisio.

Anna and Ernie both graduated from Milwaukie High School.

Anna entered Marylhurst College in 1936, and graduated in 1940.  In late 1936, Anna's father suggested that she invite "that Ernie Bisio kid" who she had known all her life to the upcoming dance.  She did - they were married on March 15, 1943 while Ernie was home on leave from the US Air Corp.

Anna worked for more than 50 years managing the books for her husband at Bisio Motors on Sandy Blvd.  They were married for 67 years until Ernie's passing in 2011.

Anna is also preceded in death by their daughter, Mary Ann Bisio , and her brother, Dr. George Corti.

Anna is survived in life by her nieces and nephews, Myra (Bisio) Hanover, Mario Bisio, Kathleen Corti, Susan Corti, Thomas Corti, William Corti; 8 grand nieces and nephews; and 8 great-grand nieces and nephews.

Anna is loved and remembered by family and friends.  Her legacy and loyalty to her church, family and community will continue on through the generous support she and Ernie have given to many church and music organizations.
