Andres \u0026quot;Andy\u0026quot; Espino, 80, died peacefully on January 30, 2017 with his family at his bedside in Milwaukie, Oregon. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Filomena (Rocha) Espino; his sisters, Andrea Del Rosario and Luz Dayrit; his sons, Roberto; Reynaldo; Rogelio and his wife Teresa; Redentor; Rolando and his wife Cheryl; his grandchildren; Joanna, Jessica, Missy, Jazmine, Andre\u0027, Tyler and Sean. He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Ana, Crescencia, Zosima, Joaquina, Benjamin and Ursulo. Born and raised in Pampanga, Philippines, the son of Isidro and Eduarda (Gomez) Espino, Andy graduated from Mabalacat High School in 1952. He attended Philippine School of Arts and Trades where he received a bachelor\u0027s degree in Industrial Education. While attending college, he met his wife, Filomena, and after a short courtship they were married in 1959 at Our Lady of Victories Church. He moved to the United States in 1969 where he attended Oregon State University, graduating in 1973 with a master\u0027s degree in Education. After receiving his degree in Education, Andy began his career in teaching at West Linn High School in West Linn, Oregon. He taught numerous different classes primarily Drafting and he was also the school varsity tennis coach for several years. After 21 years of teaching, he retired in 1991. An avid golfer and a skilled handyman, he was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge 1189 in Oregon City. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his family and the family dog, Ivory. A memorial viewing is being held at 11 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 7, 2017 at Peake Funeral Chapel. The funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday Feb 8th at noon, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Milwaukie. A reception will follow at the church. The burial is at 2:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes in Happy Valley."",
