Alicia growing up, as a daughter to her single-mother this was true. As a wife this was true. As a mother to her four children this was true. As a grandmother to her four granddaughters this was also true. If you knew Alicia or have met a member of her family you probably felt a sense of joy that exists in the world purely because she created it through the love she exuded. She expressed this love to those around her by offering her time, her ability to listen, her lipstick-stained kisses, her cooking, and her way of knowing the right thing to say just when it was needed. A women of strength, selflessness, and faith was lost, but forever her spirit will live inside of the ones she loved and that happiness is her legacy. After fighting ovarian cancer for four years she is finally at rest in a place that she often talked about, with the lord and savior Jesus Christ. She left this world surrounded by her loved ones.
