Alberta Mary Weir

Alberta Mary Weir was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed away on April 16, 2013, in Portland, Oregon at the age of 80. She was survived by her beloved husband, John Thomas Weir. A private family service will be held. Please contact John Weir for more information. Alberta lived in Cincinnati until she moved to Oregon in 1968. She moved back to Ohio in 1985 to care for her mother, who was ill. Then soon after that, she was caring for her father, who also fell ill. On Oct, 12th, 1986, John met his lovely wife for the first time. They met at a singles dance in Cincinnati. Alberta had many hobbies including sewing, crochet, painting figurines, and puzzles. John and Alberta enjoyed many activities together through the years. Some of them include swimming, jogging, softball, and badminton. They especially enjoyed going to amusement parks together. John and Alberta moved to Memphis, TN in 1988. John was a teacher until he retired in 2003. Alberta convinced John to move to Oregon after retirement, because it is so beautiful."",
